Norah Jones

Norah Jones is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actress. She is the daughter of sitar master Ravi Shankar and Sue Jones. She is Anoushka Shankar's half-sister. In 2002, she launched her solo music career with the release of the commercially successful and critically acclaimed album Come Away with Me, which sold over 26 million copies worldwide. Jones co-wrote and recorded a song with Wyclef Jean to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. She has supported several charities, including Aid Still Required, Stand Up To Cancer and United for Peace and Justice. Jones has been nominated 16 times for a Grammy and won 9 of them.
